A local investment group is in need of a one bedroom model unit apartment to be designed for the renovation of the Mayfield Annex building. The client base is targeted at young professionals that are just starting out or need to rent the space out for short periods of time. The goal of this project is to be trendy and inviting to any new potential tenants. The historical integrity of the building has been kept, leaving the existing brick walls visible, as well as giving the units a fresh, modern aesthetic. The color scheme has been kept neutral with greys, blacks, and whites, relieved by cool grey and blue tones. Some industrial materials have been used, to accommodate the brick walls and to keep in continuity.
